TERMS OF SERVICE

Amityville: Haunted House, published by 91Rivers. Last updated 24 September 2026.

1. Acceptance

Using the game means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it. There is nothing to sign and no account to close.

2. Licence

91Rivers grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to play the game. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or present it as your own work.

3. The game writes itself

Most of what the house says is generated by a language model at the moment you act, not written in advance. It is bound by a fixed set of rules — it will not produce graphic violence, sexual content, harm to children, or anything about the real people connected to the house — but it is not reviewed by a person before you read it.

It will occasionally be strange, and it may sometimes be wrong. That is the cost of a house that answers what you actually did rather than what somebody anticipated. If you find something that crosses a line, tell us.

4. The house is shared

Some actions open rooms the game did not ship with. A room opened this way is kept, and becomes part of the house for every other player. You do not own it and you cannot remove it, and nothing records that it was you — see the privacy policy.

5. Availability

The game depends on services we do not control. Generation may be slow, degraded or unavailable; when it is, the game falls back to written responses and keeps working. We do not promise uninterrupted service and we may change or discontinue it.

6. What this is not

This is a work of fiction, inspired by a case that is a matter of public record. It is not a documentary, it makes no claim about what did or did not happen at that address, and it is not endorsed by or affiliated with any film, book or prior game about it, nor with anyone involved in the events.

Real people died there. The game does not name them, does not depict them, and does not re-enact what happened to them.

7. Content

Rated PEGI 7 for implied violence and mild horror. It is a horror game: it is meant to be unsettling. If that is not what you want, it is the wrong game.

8. No warranty

The game is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, 91Rivers is not liable for any loss arising from using it.

9. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top will say when they last did.
